Sorry for not keeping up with things. Good news I had to plow snow for two days. Lots more snow on the way. Did not groom trails lastnite went riding instead. A group of us went into the U.P. we rode from Rockland to Copper Harbor (220miles) . Excellent ride & excellent weather. Hopefully with our next storm the trails around here will be in the best shape of the year! The forecasters are calling for 4" to 16"!!! lets hope for the most. Safe Riding Jon

Still no good forcast on the amount of snow for Sat. forcasters predicting 1" - 12" no one has pinpointed the amount. Presently I would say the trails are unrideable!! I will keep you posted later today or tomorrow on the amount. Safe riding Jon

I am posting late tonite because the forcasters are calling for snow. I was trying to waite until they had an amount. Yesterdays 50deg temps wiped out what was left of our trails in the open and around town. Now we need all the snow we can get to end the year with a bang!! Safe riding Jon.

+20 deg forecast for mid 30s one extream to another. Have not rode in two weeks due to conditions around town. I seen the groomer out on the bearskin lastnite. They are calling for drizzle and lite snow for today. Friday they are predicting rain changeing to snow. Lets hope it is all snow!!! I will keep you posted. Safe riding Jon

Currently -6 deg wind chill -14. Snow conditions around town are poor. Snow conditions out of town ok. The weather man says lite snow tomorrow. Also a warm up for next week. Hopefully this will produce some big snows. Safe Riding Jon

Sorry no blog for a couple days. Not much has changed, no snow in at least 2 weeks. Trails around town dirty & icy. Woods trails not real bad, any thing near roads the sun is afecting. WE NEED SNOW!! Safe riding Jon

Warming up temp -9 chillfactor is -20 feels balmy. Groomed last nite, snow is at a short supply trails still look ok. The north end of the Bearskin by the Thursty Whale is Ice and lite dirt covered. Do not forget Cruiser Fest on Lake Minocqua this weekend. Safe riding Jon

-24 degrees actual temp. Lite wind do not know what the chill factor is. I will be grooming tonite. Dont forget Cruiser Fest this weekend on Lake Minocqua. BURRRRR!!! -20 Temp chill factor -35 to -40 not good riding weather. Did not brave the elements this weekend but there were several riders that did. They told me trails were good to ok depending on the terrain they were riding in. It is suppost to warm up this week high around 10 to 15 by mid week. NO SNOW in forcast. Safe riding Jon

BURRRRR!!!! -4 -20 chill factor. Lincoln Co opened their trails this weekend. Cross Country Cruisers still grooming every nite. Trails are ok and still have traffic no mater the temp. Do not forget Cruiser Fest next weekend. Lots of fun and food on Lake Minocqua. Safe riding Jon

Sorry no blogg yesterday. I went out grooming Tuesday nite. Trails are in ok condition we keep getting 1-2" of lake effect snow every nite. The cold weather makes the trails setup real nice after grooming. The Bearskin trail still has small stones showing through. In Minocqua the Bearskin is short on snow. We are going to have a cold weekend comming up. Hopefully we will get more lake effect snow. Safe riding Jon.
